The Muslim Ummah is like a body, if one part is in distress, the whole suffers. Today we are witness to the suffering of our Ummah both globally and locally and we must work together to ease its suffering.  To use our hearts to condemn injustices is noble, but it is not enough.  As students and activists, we are in a position to affect real change, but we have to take initiative.  Let us not sit back and watch the world slip into further chaos, rather let us use the one tool we have – our collective voice – to disseminate truth.

It is imperative we wait no longer to step into action – AMYNA has provided resources for you to use in your communities as well as a network to discuss, educate, analyze and support one another in our endeavors.
